Next Star Chat!!! CANCELED!!! ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ

*********UPDATES: THIS WEEK'S STAR CHAT WAS CANCELED DUE TO SOME SCHEDULING CONFLICTS WITH OUR GUEST****************
SORRY EVERYONE ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ
WE'RE TRY OUR BEST TO GET ONE ASAP!!

Hi all of my beloved kpoppers!
It's almost SUNDAY which means KPI which means ...
STAR CHAT!!!!

We've had a lot of newbie groups come in lately, which is all fine and dandy, but we want some veteran artists to come in too right?! Well, don't worry because we got a very experienced singer coming in this week. Most of you already guessed it through my twitter hints, but I'll post up an official blog entry with THREE hints like always:

1. It's been OVER TEN years since he first debuted.
2. He used to be "married" to a talented female singer whose name starts with the letter "H". (He even created a not so pretty nickname for her: "Dog Poo")
3. We'll dub our time with him as the "H-Hour"! ^^

Not only do I want you to guess (it's really not that difficult...), but I need ideas for what kind of questions you all want me to ask him! Please leave your question, name, and where you're from so I can give you a shoutout. I DON'T guarantee I'll use the question, but it'll help to have some ideas to choose from! ^^ You can leave them as comments on the blog OR tweet them to me! (www.twitter.com/itsangiepark)

Thanks!!!

Pics From Star Chat With Miss A!!!

Did you guys enjoy DJ Young's Star Chat with Miss A?!?!
They're so cute! Definitely another step for globalized idol groups considering between the four of them they can speak Korean, Chinese, and English! Min's English was a lot better than I expected...

Who was your favorite member? If you guys missed it, rewatch the interview here!

P.S. Courtney from Hawaii, please email me your full name and address so I can email you your 2wins' CD from our last 2wins Star Chat. If you missed this past KPI, I announced that I drew a name from the SIX commenters on my two blog entries related to the talented hip hop duo 2wins. COURTNEY was the winner and so you get your FREE SIGNED copy of the guys' new mini-album. After a week, I'm going to have to pick a new winner though so PLEASE email me your information before then! Thanks ^^ angela@kbs.co.kr

Next Star Chat!!! Miss A!!!

Hey all!

Don't forget that we have a Star Chat in store for this week's KPI. It's with a group that is RISING (although they can't really rise any higher because they already hit number ONE! ^^), and rising FAST. MISS A~~~

They're babies of the mastermind JYP himself and he's proven that he still has "it" when it comes to producing hit groups. This girl group is made up of four girls, two Chinese and two Korean.

I wasn't able to match my schedule with the busy ladies so DJ Young will be the one conducting the interview. I'm sure he's not complaining... Haha! ;)

Well, enjoy the chat guys and tune into KPI!!!

Post-Star Chat With 2WINS!!!!

So we had another Star Chat for this past KPI as you all know...
And just like always, here's my post-interview "scoops" on them!

I have to say, that doing these Star Chats really allow you to see the "human" side to these "celebrities". I've said this in previous entries, but there are some really NICE and GENUINE stars out there. It's just the few jerks in the industry that give the rest of them a bad name I think. Granted, to be fair, I'm probably not getting an objective look at them because they're not going to be jerks to the interviewer who can "control" the coverage these stars will get! Hehe...makes me feel...sort of powerful. Muahaha...Okay enough of the corny evil laughter and onto the nitty gritty!

As you all know, 2wins are new. They're only JUST starting to get noticed so they are still in their "humble" stage. Believe it or not, this was their first radio interview/coverage since they debuted. TopBob has done interviews before but with his previous group TBNY, not 2wins. But he was still kind of nervous because it was going to be conducted in English. He kept asking, "Do I have to talk? Am I allowed to speak Korean?" LOL Bumkey was super nervous because this was his first radio experience. Haha it was kind of cute actually.

They were RIGHT on time! (I LOVE it when stars are punctual...I've had to wait over an hour for some of the previous Star Chats...cough *SECRET* cough!) They did the 90 degree bow and everything. I gave them a translated list of the questions I was going to ask and there was a Korean spelling error that TopBob pointed out. I laughed because it was my mistake because Korean isn't my most comfortable language. He pointed it out not in a teasing way, but kind of "aww that's cute" kind of way so it was all good! We got set up in the studio and TopBob asked me how old I was. I asked him, "How old do you think I am?" He answered, "You look young." LOL So I told him, and he looked surprised and said..."Wow. We're the same age" as a joke because clearly he wasn't the same age as me. I'm guessing early to mid 30's. He refused to tell me til the end. Haha Bumkey said he was born 1984 so you do the math! During the interview, I think you'll notice Bumkey didn't talk much. I think it stemmed from his nervousness and so he couldn't think of his answers right off the bat. But overall, I thought they both did well considering it was their first experience! You could tell TopBob was much more comfortable at the mic.

When the interview ended, we're talking the second our mics were turned off, TopBob turned to me and said, "You're a great host. You conducted that very well. In all honesty, because you're so young, I didn't think you would be that good, but you're very good. You're definitely going to make it big in this industry." I was blown away by his compliment and really appreciated his honesty. And on our way out of the studio, just as formalities, I said that I hoped that they would visit us again in the future. TobBob looked at me with a very serious expression and stuck out his pinky. He promised, "The next time you invite us, we PROMISE to come again." So we pinky swore on it! In just a week's time, their song "Star" jumped over 100 spots to number 70 on the Gaon music chart! So they're on their way up. I'm going to wait until they really make a name for themselves and then invite them again! Haha

They both tweeted me a nice little message after the interview. TopBob included a really funny video of his impersonation of a lizard that you guys should check out. Hilarious.

Anyways, bottom line, I had a great time. Show 2wins lots of love you guys. They're really passionate about their music without the "fluff". They're just real. Very different from the idols out there which are more about the "packaging" and marketing, but still worth checking out!

NEXT STAR CHAT!!! 2WINS!

Hey guys!
I know it's been awhile since our last Star Chat with the lovely ladies of Davichi, so thanks for being patient with us. ^^

Usually, I like to have YOU ALL guess about who the next guests are, but this group is fairly new and me and DJ Young have never talked about them yet on the show. So rather than confusing you all, I'll just give you some info on them.
2WINS!!!!!!!!

First off, let me let you guys know how I first heard about them. It was through the guys of One Way. They had posted up some pics of 2wins through their Twitters and had mentioned them in passing a few times. Then for this past week's updates on our KBS World Artist Profile page, I got assigned to write a profile for them. So I did some digging and realized that I not only liked their sound, but also love their catchy style and take on music. It's hip hop with some FUNk (emphasis on the "FUN"!). Sometimes hip hop can be kind of down or dark, but their take on it is fresh! Or it is for their title song anyway. Check out their intro video below! Be sure to watch their "performance" of their title song "Star Guy" about a minute in.

So I sought them out, got their manager's phone number, and got Sophia to call him up! Long story made short, we have a Star Chat scheduled for this week! Yipee! If you want to know more about them, check out their KBS World profile.

I THINK one of them, Bumkey, speaks English. Or a little anyway. I'm gonna keep my fingers crossed because that would make my job SO MUCH easier! Haha. Be sure to tune in to KPop Interactive on KBS World Radio this week with the first airing on Sunday. It's replayed throughout the week so check out our website for the schedule! world.kbs.co.kr (click on "Entertainment").

Your Two Cents: How'd you discover our kpop shows on KBS World Radio???

Hey guys! How's everyone's weekends going?

As for me, I spent like 90% of it at home. Haha. I think I really needed a vegging out weekend, so I spent only about a quarter of it working and the rest just lying around and catching up on TV, movies, etc. *sigh* Was great!

ANYWAYS, this week's Y2C question, I mentioned it on one of our KPC shows from this past week.

How did you first hear about or discover KPC or KPI on KBS World Radio?

Let's be honest, it's not that easy of a program to just "stumble" across. So either you have to be a really dedicated kpop fan to go out of your way to search for it, or you heard about it from another source. That's actually why I absolutely love our listeners. It's not easy to tune in everyday. It's not like we're right there on your AM/FM dial on your drive to work or something. So we really, REALLY appreciate your loyalty in tuning in as often as you do! ^^ AND, if you heard about us through a friend, go ahead and let us know that person's name. If there was a way we could show our appreciation to all of you who spread our KPC/KPI shows with others, trust me, we'd do it!! In fact, we're trying to figure out a way how...

Also, just in case you guys missed our last KPI show, I announced that we wanted to update our listener files. So we'd appreciate it if you could email us your info to kpop@kbs.co.kr. This is your full name, address, email address, even phone number if you want to throw that in as well (you don't have to!). EVERY ONCE IN AWHILE, (we DON'T guarantee it, but we're just saying IF it ever happens...) we may have a stack of CD's to give away or information regarding our shows, or something like that. We'd love to share that with all of you. Honestly speaking, it won't be used often. BUT JUST IN CASE. So if you're worried about SPAM mail and stuff like that, I hardly doubt you have to worry about that. It's more for freebies that we VERY OCCASIONALLY get that we'd love to share. AGAIN, DON'T EXPECT IT. We don't GUARANTEE that we'll have them. BUT JUST IN CASE.

Have to add that in because I know some people will email us saying, you said to send our info for free stuff, but we never got it! >.< We know that you listen not only for the free stuff thought right?!?! haha...^^;;

ANYWAYS, that information will also HELP US OUT to let us know what parts of the world many of our listeners are tuning in from.

Alright, well answer away on this week's Y2C and tune in next Sunday to see if your answers are read.

Your Two Cents: Best group leader???

Happy 4th of July for all my fellow Americans (though it's past midnight and officially the 5th now, I haven't gone to bed yet so it's still technically the 4th for me!)!!!

If you're Canadian, Happy 1st of July (a few days ago!)!!! If you're a BEAST Yoon Doojoon fan, happy Doojoon's birthday!!!!
...
If you're none of the above...sorry. I got nothing. Haha No, I'm kidding, happy...Sunday? =/

Well, here's a question that the idol group lovers will probably have a field day with...

Who do you think is the best group leader??? More importantly though, give me one SPECIFIC example of why you think that. For example, maybe you saw on TV or read somewhere about a sweet deed he/she did for his/her members. Perhaps it's what he/she said about his/her members. Something SPECIFIC!

It doesn't necessarily have to be an idol group, but being that most of the groups out there ARE idol groups, obviously I would imagine most of the answers would revolve around them.

Although I think I have a good idea of what type of answers I'll be getting (*cough* Leeteuk of Super Junior *cough*)... I thought it'd be fun to throw this question out there anyway. This was also suggested by one of our listeners. I'm sorry, now that I'm using it, I forgot which amazing listener it was. My apologies!!! Maybe you can throw me a comment and let me know if it was you!

Well, that is the question so answer away and tune into KPI on Sunday on KBS World Radio to see if your answers are read!!!

Have a great week all~~~

Your Two Cents: Meanest celebrity in real life???

Hope you had a great weekend! As for me, I could sure use another day of it, but time stops for no one. And hence, tomorrow is yet another Monday! Actually, although I'd love to sleep in late for another day, I am excited to get back to work and start the week.

...
Haha...Do I sound like a big nerd/workaholic for saying that?? I don't know why, I just have a good feeling about this week! Maybe it'll be a good one. ^^

ANYWAYS, this week's Y2C question, let's be a little...negative. It's always favorite this or favorite that. Let's find out some of the more not-so-positive thoughts you have towards some of the kpop stars out there. Last week's question received only about half the number of responses that Y2C usually gets so I assume that
1. It's a bad question.
2. Many of you had busy weeks.

Whatever the reason was, hopefully this week will be a better one. Feel free to send in your suggestions for future Y2C questions too! I don't guarantee they'll be used, but there's a high chance for it!

Which kpop celebrity do you think would be a total jerk in real life? Whether it be because they're stuck up, mean in general, too busy to really care how they treat others, kind of socially-awkward, etc. Tell me WHO and WHY you think that (maybe it's just the general vibe you get from them when they appear on TV, maybe you have a friend who's had a bad run in with them, etc.). It can be a kpop singer, actor, model, etc. Any figure in kpop. ^^

Post up your answers and see if they're read on next week's KPI!!! Thanks guys!

Post-Star Chat With DAVICHI!!!

Take 1

Take 2

As you all know, this past airing of KPI on KBS World Radio had a Star Chat session with the ever so talented ladies of Davichi! I hope you guys caught it, but if you didn't...no worries! You can always rewatch it on our KBS World website!

Anyways, like always, here's a post-interview review on the stars. ^^

I'll be straight up honest (when am I not?!), I wasn't particularly looking forward to this interview. I mean, I was in the sense that I love their music and think they are very talented! HOWEVER, I try to do my homework and watch old interviews with whatever star I'm going to be interviewing beforehand. Re-watching Davichi's older interviews, they seemed a bit...stand-offish. Also, being that they're a bit older (not idol-star age) and with a few years of experience under their belts, I thought they might not be as "eager to please" as some of the newbies in the industry.

I WAS WRONG.

The girls came into the studio right on time with their manager and stylists. They were initially kind of quiet and stand-offish again. HOWEVER, looking back on it, I think that was more because they're on the quieter side AND they weren't sure how much Korean I could speak. So they didn't want to start talking to me in Korean in case I didn't understand it too well, and they obviously couldn't speak English. I will say this though: my first impression when they walked in was...
"OMG...they're SOOOOOO skinny!!!!!" They were both pretty tall, but SOOOOO thin. It made me feel like a cow! Haha

Anyways, once we got settled into the studio about to start, I tried to break the ice with a few basic questions. They were both surprised and said to me, "You speak Korean very well. The last English interview we had, the host wasn't as comfortable with Korean so it was a bit awkward. But you seem to speak it pretty well." We then started chatting about random things, trivial things (i.e. what they ate for lunch, what time they needed to get to the Music Bank shooting, etc.) until we started the interview.

At the end of the show, they were seriously so sweet! They both were so generous with their compliments. They said such nice things about me as the host (which of course I reciprocated because the host is only as good as their guests!). They said that they enjoyed the interview so much and to invite them in again whenever! ^^

I also told them I had found them on twitter and was now following them. Min-kyeong is not too bad at tweeting, but Haeri's still a newbie. So we were laughing about how Haeri said she had no idea what she was really doing. Before we knew it, they had to go and that was that!

After finishing my other duties at KBS, I was on my way out to my car when I noticed I had a few new tweets flashing on my cell phone. Both Min-kyeong AND Haeri and found me on twitter and tweeted very sweet messages. Just your basic stuff: thank you, hope to see you again soon, etc.

I re-learned the very important lesson: DON'T JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER! Just because someone's not super friendly, and in your face, all smiley the very first second you meet them, doesn't mean they're not genuine, nice, and generous people!

Overall, I had a GREAT time meeting the gals and chatting with them! Hope you enjoyed the interview as much as I did!

Your Two Cents: Craziest Thing You've Done as a Fan???

Hi all~

I'm starting to run out of Y2C questions! Haha...so if you have any suggestions, PLEASE post them up on the blog or email them to me to angela@kbs.co.kr! ^^

ANYWAYS, this week's Y2C question is this:

What is the craziest or most extreme thing you've ever done as a fan???

I actually posted this up on my twitter a long time ago and got some very interesting responses, so decided I wanted to get more of your opinions on this! Of course being that our show is call KPOP Interactive, it'd be great if you crazy fan behavior was for a KPOP star, but it's not necessary. Perhaps it's something crazy you did for another American singer, British singer, Chinese singer, Filipino singer...WHATEVER! Just the craziest thing you've ever done for a celebrity!

Perhaps you waited for hours in the rain for concert tickets. Maybe you bought them all these gifts for their birthday and sent it to them. Perhaps you bought 50 copies of their album to help out in album sales! LOL...whatever it is, LET ME KNOW!

Be sure to listen on this Sunday's KPI to see if your answers were read!

May CD Drawing Winners!!!

CONGRATULATIONS to the following KPI listeners on KBS World Radio because you are the lucky FOUR that have won the monthly CD drawing contest!!!

Basically how it works is you all email me your name, address, and Kpop CD of your choice to angela@kbs.co.kr.
Then at the end of each month, I draw out four names to send them their CD! Yup, it's as easy as that. HOWEVER, there is one thing that I'd like to note:

SOMETIMES the CD that you may have requested becomes sold out here in Korea. Sometimes artists will produce more copies, but that's unfortunately not always the case. This is why we try to send you what's the next best CD. I'm sorry, but we simply use our judgment to do that. So for example, if you requested the newest 2PM album, but it's sold out, we'd then probably send you their second to the most recent album. Get it? So please understand that kind of a situation. =( It WOULD help, if you perhaps give me your top two choices. That way, if your first choice is sold out, we can try to get you your second choice. =)

Anyways, without further adieu...here's MAY's CD drawing winners!!! Congrats again!

Your Two Cents: Best UPPITY song???

As you all know, this is the week before the 2010 WORLD CUP in South Africa!!! If you know ANYTHING about Koreans and the Korean culture, it can all be summed up in one word: FIERY.

Fiery tempers, fiery emotions, fiery (flaming hot) food, fiery CHEERING! World Cup season is one of the most exciting times in Korea because soccer fans AND non-soccer fans alike, all get into the cheering. Anything to do with Korea on an international stage is supported FULL FORCE.

As we all know, kpop is of course intertwined with that as well with kpop singers singing World Cup songs, making World Cup ads, and talking about how excited they are to cheer for the World Cup themselves! I was thinking of asking which Kpop star would you want to cheer alongside with...but that's kind of an obvious one. I would assume that the answers would be similar to all of your answers for "Your ideal type" question! Haha

So instead, here's another one. We've done "Best Breakup Song" before on Y2C so let's do the opposite: Best Pick-Me-Up Song? Which song gets you pumped up, energy flowing, ready to get out there and take on the world! Whether it's because of its inspirational lyrics or just the upbeat, fast tempo.

Post up your answers and see if your answers get read on next week's KPI on KBS World Radio! ^^

Get your FREE KBS OST Compilation CD!!!!

Hey all!
So if you tuned into KPC this week, you probably heard me and DJ Young annouce the Y2C (Your Two Cents) question last week ("What is your favorite OST song from a k-drama or Korean movie?"). Our producer Sophia has so generously offered to give out FREE KBS Drama OST Compilation CDs to EVERYONE who answered the question! I didn't really post it up on my blog and go out of my way to tell everyone about it, because I wanted the loyal few that answer every week or the loyal bunch that tune into KPI everyday to be rewarded! ^^

So, I remember everyone who answered (it's up to the 29th commentor on the blog) before the deadline (today). So if that's you, email me your name and mailing address to angela@kbs.co.kr. That way we can get those CDs shipped out to you!

Thanks for participating! ^^ SEE! It PAYS to listen to KBS World Radio~ :P

Your Two Cents: Best Music Video???

Hey all! Thanks for all your GREAT answers to this past Y2C~ Got about 5-10% more responses on it so I'm assuming it was a well-received question~^^

Okay...so this week's question was suggested by a loyal listener...HERMIN!!!

As any k-pop fan would know, k-pop music videos often are like MINI mini-dramas! There's an interesting/funny/sad/tragic/etc. story line to them. Well, this week's Y2C question is:

Which k-pop music video has the BEST storyline or concept?

Lately, a new duo UV has been garnering a lot of interest for their comedic approach to music. In fact, their new music video for their song "No Cool, I'm Sorry" is so cheesy and funny! Haha DJ Young was like, "Angie, you HAVE to watch this!" All the other people in the KBS office were like, "what the hec is that?!" as we were laughing aloud. The lyrics are pretty funny, but some of them make cultural (Korean) references that many international listeners may think, "I don't get it...what's so funny about that?". Just throwing that warning out there! ^^

Check it out:

Alright, answer away and tune into KPI next Sunday to see if your answers were read on air!

ONE WAY and April's CD Drawing Winners!!!

So as you all know, this past Sunday had a GREAT edition of Korean Pop Interactive (KPI)! Mainly for TWO reasons:
1. We had another Star Chat with the guys of ONEWAY!!!
2. I announced the winners of our CD Drawing for the month of April!

Let me first start with the CD Drawing Winners! Drumroll please.....*dumdumdumdum* (how do you imitate a drumroll through words?!?! haha)

Name: Ida Zawani Bt Zainal Abidin
CD: Super Junior "supershow 2"
Address: Perak,Malaysia.

Name: James Philip Torrato
Cd: Girls Generation "Oh"
Address: Cavite City, Philippines

Name: Rehab Elkhayat
CD: TVXQ's "Mirotic" CD
OR
"2pm 1:59"
OR
"Rain's Back to the basics"
Address: Tanta , Egypt

Name: Nikka
Cd: DBSK "Mirotic"
Address: Nevada, USA

Congratulations you guys!!! And like I ALWAYS say...even if you DID or DID NOT win this month, TRY AGAIN! Luck of the draw will only tell who wins NEXT month! ^^

If you're new to the KPI family, let me quickly explain:
1. We have a CD drawing every month where we pick FOUR winners to ship off a KPOP CD of their choice to where ever they are in the world!
2. To enter, all you have to do is email me angela@kbs.co.kr with your name, mailing address, and which kpop CD you want!
3. Please limit entries to only ONE a week, because any additional entries will NOT increase your chances!
4. Good luck and try month after month!!

Now with all that business aside, let's talk about the guys of Oneway!

To be honest, it was really more for me to get the guys of Oneway in for an interview. I was totally on Sophia's case about it until we finally scheduled it for the most recent KPI airing! Haha This was the case for two reasons. One, I think they're incredibly talented with a fresh (not your "typical" kpop) sound, but kind of still under the radar. Two, they speak English! Which makes MY job much easier! ^^;;

They were ON TIME! In fact, WE (KBS) were the ones that were slightly late with another recording that kind of went overtime. -.-;; They were incredibly polite (Sophia LOVED them!) despite the fact that Peter was feeling slightly under the weather, and they were ALL EXHAUSTED from a couple all-nighters (they're trying to meet a recording deadline for tomorrow!) at the studio. They were incredibly down to Earth and a total pleasure to interview. They put all of their physical tiredness aside and did their best to deliver an entertaining interview for their international fans! They even brought me an autographed copy of their CD (which is GREAT might I add! Favorite track USED to be "Magic", but now I like "One Way"). Just incredibly talented yet HUMBLE guys. Show 'em lots of love you guys! They also have twitter accounts, and I know for a fact that they try super hard to get on it often and interact/respond to as many of their fans as possible! So "follow" them!

www.twitter.com/onewaychance
www.twitter.com/onewaypeter
www.twitter.com/onewayyoungsky

NOT TO MENTION DJ Young and my own twitter accounts that I would HOPE you all are ALREADY following!! ;)

www.twitter.com/goDJYoung
www.twitter.com/itsangiepark

(please indulge in my self promoting that I'm doing here... ^^;; )

ANYWAYS...we had a TOTAL blast and I was just disappointed we couldn't make the interview longer. =( Because the show is fairly short, I was very limited and only got to ask them like half of the questions I had prepared. Who knows though? Sophia loved them so much, we may see more of them in the future! ;)

Well, hope you guys enjoyed the interview and if you missed it, no problem! You can check out the video clip at world.kbs.co.kr (click on "Entertainment" up on top, and then "Star Chat" on the left).

Next Star Chat!!!

Wow... This has got to be some kind of record! We have Star Chats on two BACK TO BACK KPI's!!! Not even a week has passed since our last Star Chat with SECRET, but we already have another Star Chat for this upcoming KPI.

For some of our AVID listeners (by the way, let me take the time to send plenty of <3<3<3 your way...LOVE YOU GUYS!), if you've been keeping up with my twitter or DJ Young's twitter, you may already have a clue on who our next guest(s) will be. BUT, like always, I do have hints for you all...

1. They've got more testosterone than estrogen.
2. They sing about the same thing as our LAST Star Chat guests.
3. They can speak ENGLISH!!!! (Finally!!! I can put my horrendous interpreting skills aside for this one!)

I think I already gave it away, but GUESS AWAY regardless!

If you have any ideas for questions, post those up as well! I will take them into consideration for the interview. ^^

Your Two Cents: What k-pop song are you just SICK of hearing???

New week, new question! =)

Okay, so I thought I'd change it up a little this week. Actually, this was DJ Young's question. We're always harping about how good a song is, or how talented a certain artist/group is... Let's be real here. K-pop isn't ALL good. And even if it IS a good song, after the thousandth time or so of hearing the same songs played over and over again... it gets OLD! This question actually might help us out too because if a lot of you are saying the same songs, perhaps we should be a bit more careful with what songs we play on our shows. The last thing we want is to play songs that a lot of people are sick of over and over again! Haha So here's the question....

What k-pop song are you just sick and tired of hearing? Perhaps it's overplayed. Perhaps it's not overplayed, but you hated it from day one. Well, what song and by who?? It doesn't necessarily mean you hate that artist/group. It's just that song in particular!

It's a gloomy, wet and gray Monday here in Seoul, Korea. Hope the weather's a bit better wherever YOU all are! And even if it's not, don't let it get you down!

Meet you guys on air^^

Your Two Cents: Which Artist/Group Collaboration Would You Like to See?

Hey all! It's another new week ahead of us which means another Your 2 Cents question! ^^
This week's question was acutally suggested by a loyal listener, Selene! So thank you Selene for your contribution =)
If you guys have any ideas for these Y2C questions, please let me know! Email them to me: angela@kbs.co.kr

Alright so here it is...

Which artists/groups would you like to see team up for a song?? It can be two Korean artists/groups OR one Korean artist/group and a NON-Korean artist/group.

These days, there's been a few American artist and Korean artist switcharoos. For example, Wheesung did his own rendition of Craig David's "Insomnia, Brian Joo did Jason Derulo's "In My Head", and 4 Minute and Amerie even did a song together. It's been interesting to see different artists and cultures come together through music!

Let the answering begin! I will try to read as many of your answers as I can on next week's Korean Pop Interactive (KPI) show on KBS World Radio!

Also, for any new listeners, let me remind you about our monthly CD Drawings! Just email me (angela@kbs.co.kr) your name, address, and which Kpop CD you would like to receive. At the end of every month, we take all the entries and draw out four winners and email them their FREE kpop CD to WHEREVER they are in the world!!! Please remember there IS a limit to the entries (one a week) so emailing anything more than that WILL NOT increase your chances of winning! =)

Even if you don't win for this month, keep trying! You never know when you'll one day be announced as one of the four winners!! Good luck!
