DJ Young's Musical Feats

So, many of you may already be aware of the fact that DJ Young (who hosts KPop Connection with me on KBS World Radio, and also KPop Zone on Arirang Radio) used to be in the KPop scene even more intimately than he is now. He used to be in the group Sharp as well as Uptown for a little while. If you're anything like me, you're probably curious to know what he was like in these groups, what he sounded like, what he looked like, etc. Well, wonder no more! I have some VIDEOS (sooo much better than just pictures! :P ) from his past!

1. They (that should already be a HUGE hint!!!) will be performing at the Korean Music Festival (aka Hollywood Bowl) this year!
2. The FEMALE fans will probably enjoy this just a TAD bit more than the male fans!
3. None of THEM can speak English!

Sorry I've been kind of MIA for a bit... ㅠㅠㅠ

To all the KPC and KPI listeners, you guys are AWESOME! Keep those messages and emails (kpop@kbs.co.kr for KPC and angela@kbs.co.kr for KPI ^^ ) coming!!! We LOVE LOVE getting them~

AND...I don't know if I should be saying this...
but the MORE listeners we have (meaning the MORE listener interaction and feedback we get!!), who knows...KPC MAY become a LONGER show... *shrug* Just saying... ;) Tell all your friends about it! And now that iPhones have an application for it, tuning into KPop Connection is easier than ever.

Also, KPI listeners, this Sunday's edition will have a Kpop Star Chat done by DJ Young!!! It's not one of your idol groups, but a young man who's considered to be the "Trot Prince"! For those of you who don't know what trot music is like... it's definitely one of the more unique sounds Korea has to offer. It's been really making a comeback these days...

So I promise I'll do a better update soon, but just wanted to take the time to first off, THANK all the GREAT KBS World listeners who have been SO welcoming~

I'll be honest....
Being that Sarah was such an amazing host, I thought it would take awhile for the listeners to get used to a new voice~ And of course everyone DOES indeed miss Sarah, but many have been very warm and nice! So THANKS for that^^
Our producer was telling us Sarah had sent an email from Vietnam saying that she's doing well~ So I'm sure that's good news for all her fans out there!

SECOND, please, please, PLEASE keep all your emails, requests, messages coming in~ Me and DJ Young LOVE getting them and reading them! THIRD, so the latest KPOP news has it that Amerie (that super hot half Korean singer in America) is planning on featuring a couple KPOP groups on her album~ 4 Minute and BEAST!

To my knowledge, they'll be featured on a song that was actually already released: "Heard 'Em All"
